Berlusconi and Galliani snatch midfielder from AC Milan

Monza president Silvio Berlusconi has crossed paths with his former club AC Milan on the mercato.

The Rossoneri have been very active on the mercato signing a big number of players for the first team. AC Milan have spent around 60 million euros on Fikayo Tomori, Mike Maignan, Sandro Tonali, Fode Ballo-Toure, Brahim Diaz and Olivier Giroud.

Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have also paid special attention to the Primavera squad. The strategy of AC Milan is clear investing in young players, however, one has slipped away thanks to Adriano Galliano.

Monza have snatched the young talent Samuele Vignato. The club of Silvio Berlusconi and Galliani have won the race for the highly rated 17-year-old beating the competition of AC Milan, Inter, Juventus and Bayern Munich reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italy U-18 attacking midfielder was available on a free transfer after refusing to renew his contract with Chievo Verona. Samuele Vignato decided to join Monza because the Berlusconi club could guarantee him immediately more first team opportunities.

After losing Samuele Vignato, AC Milan have turned their attention to another player. The Rossoneri are in negotiations to sign Yacine Adli from Bordeaux for around 12 million euros.
